Channel 96- Resort Television

My DD6 fell in love with all of the old Disney cartoons while on vacation. Does anyone know if these old cartoons are ever on cable tv or if dvds or VHS tapes are sold?

they were selling "collections" of old cartoons on DVD through disneydirect or at the disney stores. I bought a two-- one of donald, and one mickey at our Costco. they are the 1950's cartoons with the gang.

I had to respond to your question because my son is addicted to Channel 96. We go to Disney World 4 or 5 times a year and the first thing that occurs after we get into the room is the tv is turned on to channel 96.

There have been many compilations of Disney cartoon released. I just did a quick search of amazon.com and found a bunch (I used Mickey Mouse as key words). I bet you can find some videos or DVDs on ebay too!!! You also might want to check out used bookstores-I picked up a compliation of Daisy/Donald shorts on video for 99 cents at a store near where I live.

I have no idea whether they sell them or not, but I love watching that channel and I'm not a kid. I used to watch those cartoons when I was little and am glad they're on that channel.
