Changing your stay dates and FP ressies?

There is a chance that we will back up our stay by a day but I will not know until after my FP date of 60 days out. Changing the dates will be a last resort and is dependent on work but hopefully wont be necessary. If I book my FP times at 60 days and then 30 days out cancel the first night of my stay--will it delete all my FP times? I definitely don't want a headache like that so if it is a possibility I will just wait until 59 days to book my FP+ just to be sure. TIA!

Even if you change your accommodations well before 30-days out, your FPs remain intact as long as Tickets are still linked.
