How about if I talk to the manager of the attractions could I transfer then maybe????? Or who could I talk to about any transfering???

If you have concerns with your work area, address them with your location management. It's not totally impossible for CPs to move, but you'll need to get the conversation started with your leadership for anything to move forward. In the meantime, keep your record card clean - your chances of being able to move rapidly decline when you incur points.

Also bear in mind- some attractions like the Haunted Mansion have a very long transfer list, even for full-time Cast Members- obviously they are first priority since they have more seniority. Again, as a CP a transfer isn't impossible, but you'll need to be a realist and consider that you may not be able to move from your current location. Make the best out of your current situation- you never know what you might be able to accomplish.

Thank your support man, I mean I don't mind staying in food and beverage, but can transfer from Epcot to Magic Kingdom. What manager or who can I talk to abou a transfer???? I realy want to be at Main street bakery, but don't mind any quick-food just as long as its at the MK!!!! I really want it!!!

Sadly, it's basically impossible for you to transfer to attractions during this program. If you extend for an additional program (which for you would be extending through May 2009) you would be able to transfer to another role and area.
That's what I did... I began in Main Street Custodial, Summer 2006 (Summer Program in QSF or Custodial for first time CP's... that was the last time they offered it). Was loving the program so much that I decided to extend through the Fall. Transferred into attractions. I too was going for Haunted Mansion, but instead of getting placed there I was placed at Aladdin/Tiki/Treehouse (or ATT as it's commonly referred to) which is also in that area. Once I was placed there I couldn't even transfer to Mansion internally.
You may be able to transfer to another QSF area, but of course you would have to ask. But, yeah, in the meantime, just do the best job you can, keep you're record card clean, and if you decide to come back (or stick around) and try for attractions you'll be in a much better position to get almost whatever you would like.

Also keep your eyes open for Magic Kingdom QSF shifts on Extra Hours Hotline.

Because your training is good throughout the entire resort, you can pick up hours, shifts, connections, and experience what it's like to work in places such as the Bakery.

Awww, I'm sorry to hear that things aren't going well. Hang in there!

i was in your situation on my first college program. i was qsf&b at all star sports (major yuck!). your best bet is to talk to your leader. the only reason i was able to move locations is because entertainment was desperate for some face characters halfway through my program and i got to go to an open call (but even then it took awhile for me to get switched over- it was like pulling teeth). but try picking up extra shifts on the portal and try to get your name known (in a good way) by the managers so that way if you keep picking up shifts in a specific area, you might get managers that want to transfer you over or permantly schedule you some shifts in a different area than where you are located

Thanks, everyone for the support I'm going to have a positive mindset from now on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you pick up extra shifts at a different location, would you have to be specially trained? I'm assuming you can only pick up extra shifts in your particular role, but since I know two locations can be very different, do you know how that works?

when you log on to the hub, it'll say if you have to be trained in a specific area- usually qsf&b, merchandise and attractions have to be specially trained. but sometimes there are other roles such as a screaming fan or a random tourist that you can sign up for (every once in a while they'll have people be food tasters). your best bet is to just keep checking.
