Hi

Another question hopefully someone can quickly clear up

We are going to disney 30th December - 3rd Jan and i can get rooms at most places in disney for all those dates except obviously 31st in which i can only find a room at wilderness lodge i think. So my question is, if i am booking it all online myself i will have to make 3 different bookings as in book 30th december for one night somewhere then the 31st demeber at wilderness and then 1st & 2nd probably back at the hotel of the 30th (a value one). So i guess my questions are, if i make these three separate bookings (as i cant find a way to make it all in one transaction online??) then do i miss out on somethin by not booking altogether. We will also need a 4 day ticket pass. IF i buy that separate as opossed to in a package what will i miss out on? Does it mean i cant get the extra hours in park?

Thanks again in advance for some help

You won't miss out on anything. Have you only checked availability online or have you called disney? You can book your ressie and check back to see if a room becomes available in the hotel you plan on staying on for the most of your trip. People cancel ressies all the time so you never know when one will open up. I also did check availability and only the Wilderness Lodge came up, pretty steep price for New years eve. Have you checked any of the hotels by downtown disney? :) Linda

As long as all the reservations are at Disney hotels you will not miss out on anything. To get into the Extra magic hours you just need to have park admission and a resort ID card (Key to the World Card). It won't matter that you would be switching from a value to a deluxe and back...

Sometimes the cost of tickets separate from hotel room costs more than purchasing them as a package (sometimes it costs less).

You can get a 4-day ticket with your first booking even though you won't be staying the full time.

Check out prices for adding the tickets to your various reservations vs. getting them separately.

I'm sorry to say that the above posters are not entirely right. You do lose out on something. I have personal experience with this and the key word here is "PACKAGE". If you are trying to book a "package" (as you state you might be trying to do) you must stay at the first resort 3 nights. When we do a split stay our first 3 nights are at one resort, then we move to the next, because anything less will not qualify for the package deal. Now, that being said, can your 3 nights not be consecutive nights, I don't know. If you are staying one night at the beginning of your trip and 2 nights at the same resort at the end of your trip, does this still qualify you for the package......not sure.

I personally would call them and not attempt this on line if you are trying to get any package deals. They might be able to accomadate you.

Good Luck!! :thumbsup2

I suggest you CALL Disney and see what they can do for you over the phone. Often availablity is different over the phone.
