Changing Venues Once contract has been signed?

Does anyone know if this is possible? Just asking cos we are going to contract at 12 months out but if our numbers grow and we need a bigger reception venue etc can it be changed or is there a penelty?

If anyone knows that would be great, your girls are alot quicker than emailing DFTW!

not sure but i dont think they'd have a problem with you changing your venue for a bigger one, cos in the big picture that means theyre getting more money!!

When I looked at changing venues, they told me that I would have to sign a new contract. There was not going to be any penalty though. I know that others have changed their location and didn't have to sign a new contract. The only thing that I believe that they had to do was follow the new food and beverage minimums.

We ended up changing our venue a couple weeks after we signed our contract since we outgrew our first location. We went to our planning session and have gotten everything arranged for the new site, but no new contract yet. I think it just depends on the situation.

I remember someone saying that HAD to change to a new venue because they outgrew their previous location. I'm not sure if they had to sign a new contract though.
