changing ticket dates - unavailable??

We just decided to pull up our Thanksgiving week trip to a long weekend trip NEXT weekend (9/11 - 9/13) for a variety of reasons (aka mental health break sorely needed.)

I checked the park availability calendar and it's all green. Changed my resort dates, no problem. I have valid 2-day park tickets. But when I go in to edit my ticket dates under Change Your Tickets, it says unavailable? What am I doing wrong?

I think you can call and change the start date. If they are tickets that were extended to 9/26/2021, I believe they will convert to regular dates tickets with an expiration date based on start date.

ok, I'll try that....was trying to avoid calling if it was user error on the website but sounds like maybe not. Thank you both for fast replies!
 
Ur tickets are likely date specific but no worries as I just went through this myself and yes u can change ticket dates but u have to call. They changed my dates rite over phone in few minutes. Change showed up in MDE immediately. FYI...Was only on hold for 5 min.
 
Did you try just booking parks?

I think many tickets are now just good any day until 9/26/21.

I did, that didn't work - said no valid tickets available (but I have them for all of this , just for November dates.) Will call today, tried last night and gave up after an hour on hold as I had to go.
 
We had tickets purchased for November and we decided to go next week Sept 7-15th. I was able to change our ticket dates in MDE on Sunday.

I tried that but it doesn't show any prices when I go to change ticket dates, and won't let me select anything. :( I'll keep at it today. thanks!!
 
UPDATE especially for anyone else who finds this looking to do the same: I was able to make the changes on the phone (2 hour hold time, ugh) BUT she said doing so would invalidate the year-long extension to the expiration dates. So you have to be really, really sure of your new dates when you make the changes to anything you'd bought pre-COVID.
