Changing Rooms

I have a reservation for a 1BR Standard at BWV during Easter Week. I want to add a day but the only room available is the BW view but I don´t want to change rooms. What are the chances of them giving me a standard view if I have a BW view reserved? (Crazy I Know!!)

I’ve tried to do this a couple times at VGC (nicely asking for the lower room in order to not move). Theyve always looked into it, but it’s always been a no. It doesn’t hurt to ask though!

My guess is they won’t let you stay in the villa you are in.
A couple of years ago we had a 1 br. standard view at AKV for 3 nights followed by a 2 br. lock off also standard view for 7 nights. I checked at the front desk at check in, and again the night before and the morning of move day to see if we were in fact moving or if we were keeping the 1 br. we had and just adding the adjoining studio, because if we were keeping the same 1 br. I didn’t want to have to shlep the suitcases to and from bell services. They said we were moving, so I dutifully stowed the suitcases w/ bell services & off to a park we went. We got our villa notification - right back in the 1 br. we’d been in w/ the next door studio added. Still not sure what the deal was w/ that, but I had a chuckle about it @ the time.
