I just got BBC America last month and I'm having so much fun watching "Changing Rooms," I've even got my DS (8) hooked on it. I can't believe some of the stuff those designers do! Today they painted the floor and walls of some poor soul's dining room PINK! Not light pink, mind you, but bright, Barbie PINK! It was sooooo awful, I felt soooooo sorry for that couple. The expression on their faces said it all.
We have our own version over here, it's called "Trading Spaces." It's actually a spin off from the british version and it can get wild too. It's the colors that the British designers use that are so different, much brighter than ours and they'll do the entire room in that particular color.
I also like seeing the different kinds of houses and building methods in use over there. They aren't nearly as small as you guys keep going about.
Fun show.
