Changing roles for possible medical reason?

Does anyone know how to ask about switching a role for medical reasons? I got accepted for custodial (haven't accepted yet) but when I did custodial before (at Disney) after about 5 months I got a horrible breakout of acne, like the cystic kind and I had to wait until I was home to go to the doctor and get a prescription but it's not totally gone still and my mom thinks it's from when I was there.
My skin before was normal and no one else in my family ever had that happen. I wonder if that's enough for me to switch. I guess I'd probably have to get proof or something though? Because the doctor never told me exactly what happened.

For WDW there is a form, for Disneyland there's an email

Once you accept the offer there is a link to the medical accommodation form on the website. Your doctor fills it out and you fax it to Disney to review. They then will give you restrictions based on that form.

It is possible at that time that, you could be re-cast into a different role. I am 95% sure that you will need to accept the offer for Custodial and then submit the paperwork. You may want to call them to be sure. You could tell them that you did the role before and that is what happened. Although they might ask why you didn't put "no interest"

I don't know what your situation would fall under, perhaps it is some sort of allergy to the cleaning products and then you inadvertently touched your face causing severe hives/ other skin issues?

Be prepared if they do offer you another role, it could be one you previously put no interest in like QSFB.

Ah ok thanks. So I'll see if I should accept it first. I didn't put no interest because I forgot that was what happened and I also didn't expect to get it haha.
Yeah my mom says I must have touched my face and it was from who knows what. but there's also no way to really prove it.
And I'm guessing if they changed it, it would be to whatever there's room for? So I guess quick service would be likely then.

I don't know what would be likely, I guess it just depends where there is space. If you had restrictions that you couldn't work with chemicals they wouldn't put you in a role where there were chemicals, so QSFB might be out (definitely housekeeping) I don't know if there are positions in QSFB that require you to clean areas or not. I just used that as an example that you could be moved to a different role you didn't really want either.

Ok that's fine then, I just don't want to have to deal with all that again haha.
