Changing Resorts?

I have a resie for CBR for 4 and I want to take my Mother with us as a surprise and I'm wondering if I can change resorts from the CBR to BWV for a 1bedroom my home resort ? Is this possible?

Did you make the ressie for the CBR with points? If so, those same points cannot be used for a stay at any of the DVC resorts. They can only be used for one of the options in the Disney Collection, the Conceirge Collection or the Adventurer's collection.

If you just have a cash reservation at the CBR, then subject to cancellation policies for the CBR reservation, and availability and the booking windows for BWV, you can certainly use points to reserve a 1 bedroom at your home resort.

You could also switch your cash ressie at CBR to a cash resssie at BWV (again, subject to the cancellation policy for CBR and cash room availability at BWV).

Thanks for the reply, we used some pts to stay at CBR so I guess I'll use some more and get another room.
