Changing Resorts...No Car!

We're thinking of adding on an extra day to our stay at the beginning of our trip...unfortunately we can't get a room at the BC where we are booked for seven days. There is availability in several other resorts but was wondering if Bell Services would take care of moving our luggage from one resort to another for us while we enjoy a day at the parks and check in later. Thanks!

Yes. Bell Services will transfer luggage between 2 Disney owned resorts. But your luggage will not be available until late afternoon/early evening

Yes, bell services will transfer your luggage to your next Disney Resort. After you enjoy your day in the parks and check in to your new room, give bell services a call. You need to be in your room to take delivery of your luggage, unlike the way Magical Express delivers.

Some things to be aware of when having Disney transfer your luggage:

1) tipping Bell Services at both the old and new resorts is proper and expected.

2) no matter how early you give your bags to Bell Services, the actual transfer won't happen until about 3pm, with your bags available to you sometime around 4pm.

3) You will not have access to your bags during the transfer process; be sure you have everything with you that you absolutely need (i.e. medications)

4) as mentioned, they don't deliver the bags to your room without you being in the room to receive them. (Yes, occasionally it has happened - but it isn't normal)

You can also swing by the Bell Services desk and reclaim your bags if you don't want to call from the new room - just give them your claim ticket.
