Well, I got scared. :scared1: That's it. I panicked. I need someone here to tell me I've made a good (however, slighly more expensive) decision. :confused3 We are going on our first family trip to the World in 45 days! 5/22-28. We live in Alabama, so we'll be driving. I had originally booked us into ASMo. Thinking the theming would be great for the kids. However, tales of long waits for the bus, uncomfortable beds, tiny rooms, etc...well they had me thinking. I'm traveling with my husband (53) and DDs ages 4 :cutie: & 9 princess: . My husband... God love him...is a whiner. :headache: (1 part Grumpy 3 parts Eyeore) And this trip is a much NEEDED break for him. If I had to spend a little more for a slightly larger room, then so-be-it. So, I'm changing our reservations tomorrow... when we pay in full...to the CBR. :yay: I've heard so many great things (and yes...I know about the theme pool refurb, but we're not going to WDW to swim in a hotel pool)...besides... each village has it's own pool. Look it's a once in a lifetime trip for us. A duel celebration. Daughter #2, :cutie: the youngest turns 4 two days before we leave and Eyeore and I will celebrate our anniversary at the end of May. So the trip is very special for us. Tell me I've made a great choice... (lie if you have to...ok...not really) Tell me it will be the most magical vacation ever. :wizard: Daughter 9 is a Capt Jack freak... :lovestruc pirate: so any place that has Carribean attached to it...is home to her. Yo-ho!

I think you made a good choice as I understand the grumpy eeyore thing I have one of them at home to LOL

Since your question is pretty much about the resorts I am gonna move this over to the resorts board where you may get opinoins from more people who have stayed at the two resorts.

You have made a good choice. However…if you plan on spending as much time as possible in the parks, is it worth the extra money? Being there many times my self, it will be worth it. Take advantage of getting to your daily selected park and enjoy the attractions. When the kids start getting a little cranky, return to your resort and take advantage of the pools and freshen up. It will make a huge difference when you return to the parks later that day. Good Luck and have a great time.

you will LOVE CBR!!!! We had a fantastic time there. So much to enjoy, the theming is excellent and our room was wonderful. You will have gorgeous foliage and beaches greeting you each morning!

We sent a fax request for Jamaica and loved it. I want to say, bldg 45? Walking over the walkway each morning is breathtaking.

You will be hooked.

Enjoy!!!!!

If you plan on relying on the busses, I'm not sure CBR is the best choice. You have piced the moderate resort with the most bus stops. The All-Star Resorts do not always share busses, plus even when they do, they only have a total of 3 stops. I believe CBR has 5. Plus, depending on what building you are placed in, you can have quite a walk to the gift shop/restaurant area.

For bussing from a moderate, Coronado Springs is the best. The busses are typically half empty, as many of the resort guests are convention goers, and not using the Disney busses. And while the resort is large, it does have an internal shuttle to get you to the front, which CBR does not have.

If you are not plan on spending much time at the resort, why does room size matter so much? If you don't plan on having down-time at the resort, I think you should stick with your original plan and stay at ASMo.

CBR has an internal bus that serves ther resort. The walking is not that bad at CBR.
