Does anyone know if you can change resorts and use the same code you originally booked with even though it's expired? We're leaving for Pop in a week, but have talked about switching to AKL because we will now be spending more time at the resort. If not, not biggie, but would like to know.

Hi! No, you wouldn't be able to switch to AKL at this point and still use the code that has expired. It would be considered a brand new ressie, and the code ressie would not be available.

Hope you have a wonderful WDW vacation! :D

We had reservations for Pop Century for June 1st and decided to switch to POFQ last week. I called and asked if I could upgrade to the moderate and keep my code rate. She had to ask the manager, but everything was ok'd. So we did get to switch with no problems. Never hurts to ask!

I guess I could check with my Dreams rep and see what she can find out. Thanks for the replies.

I had a very experienced and knowledgeable CM help me when I switched resorts. She was about to set up a new ressie when an even more experienced CM walked by and showed her how to make those changes on the same ressie. Apparently it's not as easy as you'd think and not everyone knows how to do it.

The only problem may be availability. They may have only more expensive rooms available on the code. Even though I only wanted standard I wound up with woods view at WL.

Yes, you can. I had POFQ under BBY and I switched mine to PoP with the same code. Now my rate is from $94 to $74!!
