Changing Resorts - 2 different reservations

We will be at AKL 12/4 thru 12/9. There are several rooms tied to my reservations. They all leave on the 9th. We are moving to ASM 12/9 thru 12/14. New reservation. Can we have Disney move us or do we have to do that ourselves? Also, I have 6 day park hoppers from the AKL reservation. ASM is room only reservation. Can we upgrade those tickets to 10 day hoppers? I thought tickets were tied to room keys now, so I wasn't sure how this worked. Any help would be appreciated. I have never changed resorts mid stay before, but ASM is all I could get today for those dates using a pin. Thanks

DIsney will tranfer your belongings to another WDW resort. You need to call bell services to arrange it. THey give you a ticket/receipt when they pick up the luggage. When you check into the new resort, call bell services and they'll bring you your luggage.

I am doing this also in June.
Heres what I was told .
If you are on the dining plan you need at least one park ticket day per resort. If you are not using the DDplan than it would be more cost effective to purchase the entire ticket, 10 days, at once as it is much cheaper - you just have to finish using it within 14 days of the first use.

I was told by CM that I needed to update once we were there because if I updated my ticket to 10 days on my reservation, they had to update every member of the party from the 1st reservation.(8 people) The AKL ressie has dining with the package, the ASM is a room only ressie. Thanks for the info.
