I'd like to change our reservation to a different resort at 7 months and I am worried about accidentally cancelling it all together. Normally I would just try to be on the phone with member services when they open but hearing about the wait times make me think that won't be the best use of my time if I can just do it online. Should I be able to modify the resort in my reservation without cancelling and rebooking? I was playing with the modification on my reservation and this note was there:
Trying to select a different Resort destination? You may be unable to make that modification online. However, you can cancel your existing reservation and then make a new reservation for your preferred Resort. Or, you can call Member Services at (800) 800-9800 for assistance.
Are there certain types of modifications you just can't do online?
Any comments from anyone who has done this before would be helpful. And after what time in the am can I do this?
