Changing reservations

I made reservations for 8 nights at a deluxe resort through CRO. I may only be able to stay 4 nights. Does anyone know if I can just reduce the number of nights on my reservation or do I have to cancel the whole thing and start again and lose my AP rate?

you should be able to reduce w/no penalty... i changed my ressies countless number of times before finalizing and did not have any problems keeping our rate/package/etc...

I think they do charge for changes made less than 45 days prior to arrival, it's a $50 fee I think. That's for packages, though, not hotel only.

since you got an AP rate, that would be room only .not a package, so you can make changes up to six days prior to arrival with no penalty...its the packages that have a 46 day rule.
