Changing reservation time within 24 hours of reservation?

We have a reservation for lunch tomorrow at 3:10. However a reservation at the same restaurant for 12:45 opened up. Can I change this online or will I be charged the cancellation fee? I would book the earlier time first. I can't call because they are closed.

As long as you cancel before midnight, you won't be charged.
