Changing reservation from BWV to BCV?

We are going for the 1/2 Marathon in January and currently have BWV booked for that time. I would like to change them to try out BCV and was wondering if anyone might have any idea of my chances of changing for that time. I am going to call exactly at the 7 month window but was wondering if they would already be booked up because of the marathon? Thanks for any info.

January is very off season. I think your chances are good.

I think your chances are good, too. That said, you are wise to call at the 7 month window. Marathon time did book up relatively quickly (for January) last year.

We are also going after Thanksgiving for the Christmas season and we are staying in BWV so I thought it would be nice to try BCV since it will be only 5 weeks later.
