Our original plans were to go to a park on arrival day and not go to a park of get away day. Now our flights have changed and we plan to not go to a park on arrival day and will go to a park on get away day. What is the process for essentially switching park days? We have our tickets and park days already booked.

You have to cancel the park day you have and rebook the day you want. It's usually fine but you might have a problem if you are traveling very soon or it's a holiday weekend. Since you have to change you don't have a choice of keeping your original days anyway.

You are not cancelling everything, just the individual day.

Unfortunately, you cannot swap the dates for Park Pass Reservations. You'll need to cancel your current ones and rebook them. Be sure to check the Park Pass availability calendar on Disney's website though, before you make any changes to ensure that your desired park will be available on the days you wish to visit.

Most likely your ticket will still be valid for the last day you want, so you shouldn't need to modify the ticket.

As others mentioned, you'll need to cancel the first park reservation (just the 1 day) and book a new reservation for your new last day. Hopefully park reservations are still available. If not, keep trying to book and you may get lucky.

I believe you can go into the actual park pass and modify to a new day. At least it is showing me that option when I click modify. For the reservation only. Of course if your tickets no good that day then it’s a bigger problem, but as others mentioned that seems unlikely.

I believe that when you click "modify," the only option is to cancel the reservation. I could be wrong, but I did this about a month ago when I changed the dates for an upcoming trip, and I needed to cancel all the reservations and then make new ones. Maybe they have updated it though, to make the process smoother?

They must have or maybe something unique to that circumstance. I have modified several times without making an actual cancelation. Maybe if someone initial just linked the reservations to a ticket and then went in as a hotel guest or something like that?
