It is with great excitement that my sister was offered a teaching position today. With her new position, she will be unable to go to disney with my brother and I in December. Instead of letting her spot go to waste, my dad asked if he could go. If I call member services to take my sister off the ressie and add my dad on will I lose all of my sisters fastpasses or will they just transfer to my dad? I don't want to lose the seven dwarfs mine train!

You will lose her fast passes because they are linked to her profile, and thus to her ticket. A different person with a different ticket will have to get his own FP. And no, he cannot use her entry ticket- it is linked to her name if she has already selected FP with it, and the ticket isn't transferable once purchased and linked to a person's MDE profile.

You wouldn't lose them for everyone else, though. Just the person that isn't coming.

FP will be lost, you will need to rebook all FP for your Dad.

You can reassign the ticket but will have to get the FPs again. Changing names is easy for MS.

Thanks everyone! Hopefully, I will get lucky and can get another fastpass. If not we will just go on first thing in the morning.

Good call. Last week my sister and family were able to do 7DMT right at rope drop with less than a twenty minute wait. It is popular but easily possible with an early arrival.

FWIW, I wouldn't wait for that ride over a half hour. It is cute, but by no means a thrill ride. And it lasts two minutes. I suspect a few years down the road after the "new" wears off, it won't be considered an E-ticket at all.
