Changing Hotels and DxDP

Hi all, Hope you experts can help me.I have booked the AKL and SSR studios. We stay 2 days at AKL and then switch to SSR.

I have a 11:00 AM ADR @ 1900 Parkfare on the day I checkout of AKL and in to SSR . In order to get the credit for that meal do I have to check-in at SSR first? or is there any way they can credit me if I show them the bill from 1900 later.

I am trying to save some running around in the morning by going to our late breakfast first and then check-in at SSR.

Any suggestions, thoughts?

As far as I thought, you can use the remaining credits of your DP on check out day (at any time in time day, I would think, regardless of checking into another hotel)

Do you have dining plan on both your reservations or only the second one?

If it's both, you must have enough credits left over on the first reservation to use them prior to checkin at SSR.

If it's just the SSR reservation, you must check in before you can use dining credits. You have to have the resort room key to pay using dining credits.

Thanks! Yep I thought I would have to checkin first....sigh...

I am going with the DDP while at AKL and those 2 TS will be used up by our third day. I am thinking about going with the Deluxe when I switch hotels and will need to use that 1900 Parkfare as a TS meal......

Oh well, just means we can't sleep in so long before our breakfast....
