Changing FP+ to different park

Is there a way to change a FP+ selection to a different park without first canceling the existing FP? I'm thinking of switching around my park days, but don't want to lose the selections I already have. When I tried to check out available times, it gave me a warning that current FP+ would be cancelled and to confirm. I wasn't sure at what point in the process it cancels them. If I select the different park to see what's available, but then cancel because the times don't work, will the existing FP+s get wiped out?

I have the same issue...looking to swap out morning AK FP+'s for late afternoon/evening Epcot ones. I don't think thereis a way to check a different park than the one you are at for that day. Guess you need a buddy to do it for you if they have active passes? I checked on available optional times for AK and they are for mid day which is ok I guess,( in case I cancel AK to check Epcot and see squat and try for AK again). At least I know by checking that I wont have to race to Epcot since I already know they won't have anything.

Yes, with TSM being FP+ only this week, we were thinking about switching parks today to see if we could get FP+ for it and ride it, but can't check without dumping our FP+ in the other park which we aren't willing to do with the chance we can't get TSM if we dump the others. So, we are stuck. We really feel like Disney guinea pigs here this week. They aren't kidding when they used the term "locked in" in their commercials. It is almost like their ad people were taking a poke at them without them realizing it!
