Changing Fastpasses

I will be at WDW for more than the number of days I have park hopper tickets for. I'm thinking of switching my park day that I already have reserved FP for but don't want to lose what I already have in case the day that I want to switch to doesn't have availability. When I go online, I can't search for FP on the new day because it says my FP limit has been reached. Is there a way around this or do I have to cancel my existing FP for the old day first?

Check the FP+ sticky posts at the top of this forum. All is spelled out.

Unfortunately, you need to Cancel 1 day of FPs prior to searching for FPs at the new park.

Interested in Toy Story, Indiana Jones and Tower of Terror. We have reservations at Chef Mickeys at 10:15a that morning so if there are any FP available in the afternoon, that would be ideal.

For TSM the earliest is sbout 3:45 but there’s plenty of availability for later afternoon and for the other two attractions.

OMG...sorry, got my dates mixed up...I wanted to switch to Thur 02/08 so this is perfect. Thank you!!
