Our trip is getting closer
but my sister-in-law, who was coming with us, has just got engaged and is unable to leave her fella behind for a weekend
! My father-in-law will come instead BUT I booked the eurostar tickets direct and they were the cheapest non-exchangeable ones. Does this mean that I can't simply change the name (the website seems to suggest so) and we're stuck buying another (more expensive) ticket whilst having an empty seat? Has this happened to anyone else?
Secondly, can anyone tell me what happens when you take an under three year old to a table service restaurant? Do they just eat off your plate, or do you order for them? I'd like to do Auberge with my 7 and 2 year olds, and I know the 7 year old won't be sharing desserts!
All advice welcome!
