When requesting changes to your dining arrangements (seating time, tables, etc.) when you get on the ship, do you find out if your change request is granted right there, or do you just put your name on a list and they contact you later? We currently have late seating, but want to change to early seating because late seating is just too late for our kids. The times we sign up for in Flounders Reef depends on what seating time we have for dinner.

We were just onboard the 1/4 Magic and had been told we had late seating, which was what we wanted. When we got to our stateroom we noticed that we had first seating. I never checked out KTTW cards because I knew that first seating was full, as told to be by DCL ressie dept.

When we found out we had first seating we went to Sessions and one of the head servers, Alen, took care of us. He had to do some juggling, but he got all 10 of us in late leating at one table. He told us right there on the spot that we had now been confirmed for late seating but to check at the podium in the restaurant the first night to find out what table we were at.

It worked out great because we had the best server team ever....Beckie from Canada and Girish from India. They seemed quite pleased that we were added to their section!!!
