Changing days ??...

We orginally booked our trip from the 17th - 23rd of Dec. We were planning on leaving NC on the 16th, staying somewhere and then arriving the 17th. Now DF says..hey I got the 16th off too! So NOW we would like to check in on the 16th instead. I called Disney and they said I would have to cancel and rebook, that I can not add a new day. Has anyone NOT had to do this? Would it be wrong to try and get another CM and see if they will change our check in date? If all else fails can anyone suggest a DTD hotel or possibly another off site hotel? It would really be terrible to be that close and not be able to BE THERE! We are taking myself, DF and 6 kids ranging in age from 9-17 for their first time ever. Any advice would be great!

You shouldnt have to cancel and rebook you can either add on one day or try to get or entire trip all together either way you should not have to rebook.

I just added a day last week with absolutely no problems. I would call back!

I will get on the phone first thing on Tuesday morning until I can get someone to help! Wish me luck! Now, I have one more day to worry about and guess I will have an extra day on dining too. If we are arriving around 12 I had thought maybe it would be best to have an early TS so that we can do whatever afterwards and go back to the hotel...the two drivers should be had by 7!

I am sure you can call tomorrow. Unless there is something on your end stopping you from calling tomorrow. Or am I mistaken that they will be taking reservations tomorrow?

I didn't realize it would be available tomorrow...believe me first thing before work..(yes I have to work tomorrow...ughhh)
