If you know you want to be at WDW for 5 days/4 nights, but days are pretty flexible by 1 day depending on flights, is it easier to book 6 days/5 nights & take one day off later vs adding a day so you can get spring offer that ends today?
Also this would be a package w/ tickets & dining plan. I know you have At 45 days out to cancel, correct? Would there be an issue? So it would just be a matter of canceling 1 day once plane tickets are figured out. :confused3

:)Thanks!

Well... if it were me, I would hedge my bets and book 5 nights/ 6 days with the park tickets I planned on using. Then after my flights were booked, I'd change my hotel reservation to reflect the 4nights/5 days of actual travel. I would recommend this - I didn't do it this way one year, and found myself without a room for one night, when I booked the flight. In the end it worked out, but was a hassle. You have until 45 days prior as you mentioned to adjust your trip package. A room only reservation can be changed up to 5 days prior. Best of luck!:goodvibes

Thank you Singinglizzie for your quick response! :) Would you wait to add dining plan until after plans are finalized too? :thanks:

I would probably book the dining plan now, and take it off later if need be, as long as you think you'll be able to finalize everything by the 45 day mark. If you think it will take longer than that and your dining plan hinges on those plans, then I would plan on adding the dining plan later (they usually only charge the change fee at that point if you're taking something off=paying less money).

Make sure that if you're planning on booking a package (with tickets and/or dining plan) in the end, you'll want to be booked with a package before the deal "expires." Room-only and packages are handled separately, so going from one to the other requires a cancellation of the entire reservation and re-booking a new one, which could cause you to lose your discount.
