Changing big kid diapers at DL?

Hi all,

My 7yo DS is disabled and uses diapers. Last time we were at Disneyland he fit onto the larger changing tables, but he won't fit now and I'd like somewhere more private for him since he's older. Is there someplace in the park with a larger changing area, maybe a private "family restroom"? Would the first aid or breastfeeding stations have a changing area or a space that we could use?

Thanks for any suggestions :).

There is the child care center by the Plaza Inn. They are willing to help/accommodate regardless of the child's age.

There are family restrooms at DL and DCA. I know at DCA there is a family restroom in Bugs Land. There may be others, but for some reason, I noticed the one at Bugs Land. At DL, ther is a "hidden" restroom that is a family restroom. It's kitty corner from the Plaza Inn. When I say kitty corner, I mean it's all the way across the hub, over by the west side of the castle. I found it by going into Frontierland, walking down the hallway by Rancho del Zocalo (past the restrooms in that hallway) and out the other end. You end up in some pavilion (???) area, just keep going straight, you'll see it dead ahead as you exit the hallway by RdZ.

The "secret" bathroom may be your best bet. It's a spacious family restroom located somewhere near the Plaza Inn. Hopefully, someone here can give you a more detailed response, as I have never actually been to it.

Edited to add: yay, someone beat me to it!

The baby care center (or whatever they call it) on main street has really big changing tables. And they're solid, no the hang on the wall type, actual tables. I think a 7yo would fit fine. And they're in their own room, so rather private though another parent could be in there changing their babies diaper.

At WDW, we use the first aid stations for changing DS11. They have a nice full bed and are private. Does anyone know if the first aid stations at DL are similar to the ones at WDW?

The changing tables in the bathrooms at DL and DCA are too small for the OP's needs. As other posters mentioned, the tables at the Baby Care Centers would be the most ideal. The tables are solid, stable, and big.

Our DS5 is also still in diapers and wears a back brace which makes diaper changing difficult on regular changing tables. I got a great tip from the Disabilities forum about using the first aid stations. The first aid stations in both parks have large cots/beds that have worked out really good for us and the people there have been really nice and helpful.
