Changing areas for my disabled daughter

Hi All,
I have a disabled 5 year old daughter that is not potty trained and not sure if she will ever be. Right now she is small enough to change in regular restrooms on the changing stations but she might grow out of them by the time we go in September. Does anyone have experience with this, any places in the parks to change bigger kids?

If she can be changed standing up, there are the companion restrooms or in a pinch the larger stalls in the regular restrooms.

If she needs to lay down (or you cannot change her standing up), there is a First Aid location in every park with private spaces. I don't know if the changing facilities at the Baby Care Centers are any larger than standard. The only issue with either of these is there aren't multiple locations throughout the park, making it more challenging to get to them frequently if needed.

The companion family restrooms are large and they have a handicap rail that your child could hold if she needs help balancing herself while you change her. These restrooms are not as plentiful and most of them are not with the regular restrooms.

First aid is another option because they have adult cots available. There is only one first aid station in each park.

If you are using a diaper on your child I would add an adult napkin to the diaper. Then, you may only have to change the napkin rather than the diaper. This would help some of the time.

I thank God for the companion rest rooms every trip. I have to bring my 24 year old son into the rest room, and (rarely) clean up large accidents.

I am so glad Disney has many of these restrooms available.
