Changing a Dining reservation

How hard is it to change a reservation for a character breakfast. I just realized that I did a dumb thing. I made arrangements for a character breakfast at Animal Kingdom for 8:30am on our last day. So I will either have to get all of us up, dressed, packed and checked out before hand or go to the breakfast, come back to the hotel and do all that needs to be done and then check out and go back to Animal Kingdom to spend the day until we leave. I am thinking I should do the character breakfast the day before we leave instead. I fully admit it was my own stupidity...how hard is it normally to change a reservation? I know they book up...but am I just going to agrevate the reservation people and not get any changes anyway. What do you thinK? I plan to call tomorrow and see what I can do.

We have never had to go and physically check out. You just leave the room. Are you flying and taking Magical express.

Call and give it a try. If it's available they will change it.
Why don't you go online now and make the reservation yourself.

We did this same brkfst on our last day also. We packed everything the night before except what we needed for the next day. Went to check in for our flight early in the morning and checked our luggage. We also left our carry-ons with luggage services. Then we hopped on a bus to AK spent part of the day there and then came back picked up our carry-ons and hopped on ME.

I have changed mine. I booked my own ADR online and there is a spot on your page to cancel or a link via email to change/cancel. NBD

Just go online and see if you can get a ADR for the day before you leave, and cancel your first ADR.

We have never had problems, other than availability issues. It is easy and the reservations people appreciate that you actually change and don't just book the new reservation and not cancel the old one.

This is another reason I also advocate that people use a qualified, well recommended travel agent. At non additional cost to you they will handle this for you. But I have also handled this on bus rides in WDW on my cell - it's that easy.
