Hi all! I booked a cruise while I was on the Dream last April. I had originally booked a cruise for April 2017, but then I switched it to a five night double dip on Castaway Cay cruise for June 2017. We are in the process of moving and considering all the moving expenses and cost of all the new furniture I want to buy, I am considering moving that reservation again.

How would this work? For example, when the new 2018 itineraries come out could I book this reservation using whatever down payment I've already made? We paid about one third of the cruise off already and I would just as soon put it on another deposit.

Thanks!

You certainly can move the reservation again. Just be aware that the actual cruise you take must start within the 24 month period started when you booked the future cruise onboard for the Onboard booking perks to be effective. And not a black out date.

Just call DCL and do it. Or your TA will have to handle it, if you used one.

Thanks! I guess that gives us until April 2018…I'm not sure if that will work, but I guess I have time to think about it!

As PrincessShmoo said, you have 24 months to keep your OnBoard Booking Perks in place. If it turns out that you push back your booking further than that, you can still move the reservation (and money), you would lose the discounts and onboard credit. Good luck with the move!

Thank you! I am so excited…I am literally moving into my DREAM house! Both DH and I decided that we don't want ANY of our furniture in there and I am thinking that I can either pay the remaining $5000 to the cruise or use it to buy some furniture!
