We have 5 days remaining on our son's (he's 6) 10 day no expiration ticket. We are all getting AP's in January when we go. Will they let us put that remaining 5 days towards his AP?
Thanks :worship:

Hello
We were able to do this... My wife and i had 5 days left of our 10 day no-expire. I called and upgraded to the PAP. We were at WDW in May, and upgraded in July....not sure if the timing had any bearing on this.
Hope this helps.
ps. Sorry, i don't remember how much more cash we needed to upgrade, but we went to the PAP because we still had all 10 of our "extras" available for use that we paid for, and wanted to take advantage of the waterparks.

I read on a thread here last night that if it's no expiration and you've used days on it, you must upgrade within 14 days of use.

I haven't really thought this through, but to apply the whole price of the ticket, they would have to back date the AP to the first date you entered the parks with the ticket -- I don't think you would want to do that anyway. And I think the previous poster is correct - if it's used at all, it has to be done within the 14 day window. We upgraded UNUSED tickets to DVC discounted APs, so I'm not sure.

Check the Ticket sticky in the Park Touring forums here on the DIS - by Cheshire Figment -- it has just about every possible ticket question you could think of.

Unused tickets can be upgraded and the price applied to the upgrade, but used tickets can only be upgraded within 14 days of their first use, no matter if they were non-expire tickets or not. The only exception is the FL 3 or 4 day play pass which have a 6 month expiration time normally.

They normally don't make exceptions to this, but probably the only place that could make an exception is Guest Relations.
