Changes to the Castle!!

I haven't seen anyone saying anything about the changes to the castle.....

Anything look different????? DH and I are wondering if they will have the mirror taken down when we are there next week!!!!!!

It is different. Safetymom has been posting pictures. it is my guess that the mirror will eventuall come down. I liked it, but now that the other decorations are gone, the mirror does not fit. It worked with the other decorations, IMO. I know that they plan on doing some painting work, if that hasn't already been done.

What's funny is that while DIS posters were split about 50/50 on taking down the bling, (almost) everybody wanted to see the mirror go.

It's almost funny. So many DIS'er's ( myself included) wanted the gold to stay there, but take the mirror down! WDW has done the opposite.

I am with the ones who prefer the gold but could care less for the mirror - I hope its down before Oct 1 - might as well have it au natural if we can't have the gold. Please Disney take down the mirror!!

I'm a huge complainer when it comes to changes at Disney and for some reason I am not bothered one bit by the mirror

Oh no! I knew it would happen, but not when. I really liked all the characters flying around the castle..they were so pretty!

I haven't seen Saftymoms posts and although I am about to go looking can anyone direct me, just in case?

Any ideas when the mirror will come down? I would imagine it would come down sometime before Oct 1st since that is when the 50th celebration officially ends...

There are several albums with the progress of them taking the decorations down off the castle. Mirror is still up. To get it up was a lot of work with 2 cranes so it will probably require that second crane to take it down.
