Changes to Magic Morning

I am standing outside bag check right now. The website says there is Magic Morning at Disneyland today at 8. The bag check people are only letting people in with wrist bands because there is a "special event" at CA this morning and that is the park that is opening early. I am so angry that the website is wrong. The website advertises MM at DL tomorrow, but I was planning to start my day at CA (since I thought I would be starting at DL today).

On top of that, I don't have anywhere to sit because they're roped off the benches out here and I don't really want to walk back to my hotel. This has really soured my Disney experience.

Well, a different person at bag check finally let me go through to the Downtown Disney bag check and the CMs over here say MM will happen. I guess this could go in the "CMs lying to/giving misinformation" thread.

I don't know if I'd go as far as lying, but misleading, yes. It sounds like they were trying to get all of those with wristbands through to lessen the confusion of which park was actually open for Disneyland guests (and not the special event). Of course, they could have told you this. There have been times where the bag check hasn't opened until 30 mins prior to early entry gate opening. Frustrating for sure!
