Did anyone see the press release from George Lucas today. He made a rare apperance to the StarWars Convention and said that He and Speilberg are will start working on Indy 4, GL will write and direct 2 different star wars TV pilots. (there is no way it will not get picked up, even if it is not good) and that he is working right now to redo and update Star Tours.

We have seen star tours well over 50 times ( my DS rode it 38 times on one trip alone ). But as star wars fanatics I would would love to see a new version.

Exactly! This is the role people have wanted him to play since we first met him 6 years ago.

Seriously though... Lucas knows how much the faithful despise JarJar. Do you really think he'd burden us by adding JarJar to the ride? Especially considering how difficult it is/would be to change Star Tours again? Including JarJar would be such a slap in the face of his fan base. I can't see it happening.

I think the greatly reduced role in Clones shows that GL recognizes his error. I think it was kind of a nod to the fans to make Jar Jar indirectly responsible for the fall of the Republic
