Currently booked inside stateroom room deck 8 on the dream midship. I can change to a porthole midship deck 2. Any opinions? Thanks!

Thanks--corrected autocorrect lol! Less than $100 difference. Any opinions on deck preferences?I'm liking your autocorrects.
I found nothing wrong with an Inside, but an Oceanview is nice too.
This decision is one only you can make.
Keep deck 8 far far better.Currently booked inside stateroom room deck 8 on the dream midship. I can change to a porthole midship deck 2. Any opinions? Thanks!
Personally, I'd take the oceanview room. I really prefer having the natural light. We did an inside (deck 8) room on our Dream cruise, and, while the virtual porthole is fun, it's not really a big draw for us.Currently booked inside stateroom room deck 8 on the dream midship. Thanks for the helpful info!Keep deck 8 far far better.
Closer to the pools.
Further from vibration of sea, engines etc.
Closer to buffet etc.
I'm opposite prefer dark to sleep. Just wondering if I miss out having a view. So I suppose if we keep inside room will just need to rise early to catch the viewsI don't mind if my "storeroom" is dark. The vegetables thrive in there.
Some people enjoy not having a window -- they can sleep without any light in their room. I really need to see outside.
With the inside room on the dream, you would always have the magic porthole/real time views!I'm opposite prefer dark to sleep. Just wondering if I miss out having a view. So I suppose if we keep inside room will just need to rise early to catch the views![]()
I had no idea!In case you're not aware of this, the view you have of the outside coincides with where the wall of the monitor is in the cabin.
Motion is far worse the lower you are. The closer you are to something the greater reaction that's science. So the closer to the sea, the closer to the engines, the closer to the thrusters, the greater effect. Lower decks get " random" movements that are unpredictable, whilst further away higher up there ironed out to a gentle sway.
