Water recedes quickly in Melbourne...we're just experiencing flash flooding because the storm water drains can't cope. I just read that we have been having 1 in 400 year rains this summer. Last weekend, we got 4 times the amount of average rain for the month of February - over a 2 hour period!

How exciting for your DDiL. Is she staying long? Pity you can't go with her...

Well, good for your area...wow 1 in 400 years, you're living history. DDiL has a friend going with her to visit. DDiL has a network of female friends who are like sisters...The friends they are visiting in Melbourne are the couple who introduced our DS to his DW! The trip will be for 3 weeks.
