Hi Bobbi  Was in a hurry this am so couldn't talk with you then. How old are your DGC? I'm sure you said somewhere. I'm still waiting for that "time" in my life when I can spoil little ones. At this rate I'll probably make it to 100 before I see the day!!

Hi Princess  We had a great time. I finally got to see the ring he gave his GF....not THE ring but the ring before THE ring!!! Whatever!! :rotfl:

LOL Kitty, sounds like me. My oldest will be 26, no boyfriend in sight, and she really doesn't want kids (not really the mothering type)

DS is 21, the younger girls only 16 and 18, it will be a long while before I'm a grandma.

I loved it when my boys were 10, Princess. Great age. Fortunately I had great teen years with them, too. That's when we did all of our trips to WDW.......it was so much fun!! I really miss those days. My sons are now 22, 24 and 30.

I feel for you, Kate. I will be lucky if I'm even a Grandma in my 60's! And to think I always had plans of taking the grandkids to WDW. At this rate they'll be pushing grandma in the stroller!!! :rotfl:

60's is the new 40's. And I'm betting that the grandkids will be running after grannie.

I had my DS later in life; so I have no expectations of taking grandkids anywhere!

What an exciting week this was and I feel like the luckiest DGM in the world! We made cookies and Jello Easter Eggs. We played games, watched some movies, 101 Dalmations was my personal favorite. You should have seen their dog, Lily, stare at the screen whenever there were puppy barks, it was so cute. When their dad came for the last 3 days, we went to Cincy Zoo, and Boonshoft Museum of Discovery...finally, this morning at 10 something they left. We made wonderful memories. DDG, oldest will make her First Holy Communion this year and so, I should her my FHC picture. Of course they wanted to know how long ago it was, well, I cannot tell a lie, 56 years ago!

Their next stop is Pittsburgh where that DDiL will be returning from a 2 week trip to Melbourne Australia to visit friends. Then tomorrow they will be back in Boston.

My DH and I have 2 grown sons, and each has brought into our family a lovely wife, and the oldest son is the dad of these 3 DDC....girl 8, boy 7 and girl 6.

So, dear Disboard friends, there's so much more in life still to look forward to!
