We were looking over our booking and have made a change.... Decided to spend our first 6 days at Royal Pacific Resort. Obviously the cost is more than Rosen Inn pointe Orlando ... But we have decided to ditch the car hire as we won't really use it for our 9 days at Disney and the parking costs at universal combined with the car hire cost is still far more than we would pay in taxis and the difference covers the additional costs for the hotel (nearly)

So much for my 'budget trip' lol :rotfl2:

Excellent Choice well done. Don't think We are doing universal this time but hv still booked 4 nights off site for sea world Busch gardens and shopping .

RPR - check in 19th aug and leave Sat 25th
CBR - check in 25th and leave Mon 3rd Sep

Excited!!!:cool1:

You're at RPR the same dates as us. We check in on the 20th. Sharon (stephensmum here on the DIS) is staying there at the same time too. We will have to have a mini DIS meet.

Sounds great! Normally miss the dis-meets as going a different time!

Great plan staying at RPR, its a lovely resort. We upgraded to Club Level and it definatly worked out cheaper for us. Staying at a Universal Hotel is also a good way of jumping all the queues too.We enjoyed it so much we are going back for 4 nights in two weeks:cool1:

Just booked it this afternoon - another confirmation print out in my holiday folder :yay:

Now just need to pay the balance for Disney and sort my park tickets - just debating whether to just do Busch at £48 each or add in Seaworld and Aquatica too for £80.

Sounds fab! I love staying at Universal so much, love CityWalk in the evenings! :)

We are going to be doing Universal and seaworld before we do our 15 nights at Disney! and think we will also stay at the RPR or HRH for a few nights,we dont arrive into MCO until around 5pm so was thinking of staying at a really cheap hotel for the 1st night then going over to the Universal hotels does anybody else do this? instead of paying a real expensive price for a hotel your proberly only going to spend an hour at before falling asleep,
normally i will beg DH to go to a park or swim and stay up as im buzzing from excitment but the kids are normally shattered:rotfl2: and so is my mum! so Im thinking this yr just get somwhere grab food and sleep then get up early refreshed :thumbsup2
