Change of bus service

I have just retured from OKW and was not very happy with the bus service after the parks close....it would seem that the bus service from T/T to downtown disney no longer operates, therefore the bus drivers activly encourage people who want to go to D/D to get on any resort hotel bus and then catch a bus to D/D.....what this means is the bus for OKW from MK was full to the brim, the driver stopped at hospitality house first where all but 4 of us got off..now some of those guests were OKW members but 90% of them waited for the downtown disney bus and a lot of OKW members were left waiting at MK. This happened a number of times and I spoke to other members who were annoyed that the bus provided for the resort hotels were being used in this way.....

Now this does surprise me. I've just returned from OKW too and wasn't aware this was happening - and I caught the bus back after the close of MK. It makes a nonsense of the sign they have saying that all passengers must be able to show resort ID.

A large number of people do get off at Hospitality House though, as you know, because if you are staying near to Millers Road or Peninsular it can be faster to walk than stay on the bus. Even so, why don't you raise this on the US board to see if anyone else knows of it or if it was a one-off?

PS Still struggling with jet lag which is why I am still up at this time

When we were at OKW in August there were people doing this but it seems more now know about it. I didn't know why they were using the OKW buses at the time. We overheard one group of youngsters heading for Pleasure Island moaning about having to go to the resort and then they said "of no, it's a timeshare, even worse"!. When we were there the wait times weren't too bad but I agree that this should not be encouraged.
