Change in plans

I was originally going to go to DLR with brothers family and our parents for President's day weekend, but today, brother told us that they won't be able to make it anymore. This changes our plans completely. My parents and I still want to go on a trip. We now a dilemma because DLR was just for my brother as it is much closer to travel for them. We live on the west coast. My dad is still working for the school district so the next available day would be the spring break which is the third week of March which was our original plan before we found that President would work out better for all parties. We were thinking of possibly another trip to Aulani, or go to WDW. I saw that Orlando school districts have the same week off for spring break. Are we crazy to think of staying at WDW? I was looking at 1-bedroom availability and most resorts still have availability so I just don't know if it is an anomaly or if DVC members avoid those weeks. We were also looking at Vero beach but not sure if the water is warm enough to enjoy.

Open to ideas at the moment.

This year Orlando school spring break was 10/10 crowd wise. And now AP are on sale again, so I don't think next year it'll be better. I'd hate to caught in that, but if you're used to travel during spring breaks, make you have higher tollerance.

I will have to see. It is weird that this weekend, there were no lines, but then there are some weeks overcrowded that you would not expect.
