Change in Party Size

The number of people in my group has changed since I made my ADRs.

If I call to make that change, will I lose my ADRs because of that? I had read once on the boards that the ADRs go by party size, as in, they may have all the 2-person tables at a restaurant booked, but have 3-person tables available.

Any advice/insight would be appreciated.

To rebook for a different party size, they will have to cancel your original ADR. Then, there would have to be availability for the new party size.

I'd suggest not trying to rebook for a smaller party unless the party is a LOT smaller now. If you have a larger party, you might not have a choice but to try and rebook. If you do want to rebook, make sure the CM checks availability for the new party size before cancelling the original ADR.

This happened to me on our last trip to Disney. I had to rebook ADRs. Luckily I still got the restaurants that I wanted, I just had to adjust the times a little. If you are going to change your party size I would suggest doing it as soon as possible so you can still get the restaurants that you want.
