Change in Job status...need advice

This may or may not be the best place to post this question... Sorry if its not! I am in a position that I have to give up my second job due to child care and other issues. This will be quite a financial hit for my family, and I am trying to think of ways to make up some of the difference. Ebay is one thing that I thought of.

I am hoping that you all are willing to provide with some suggestions on other ideas to make some money from home, and/or ideas on things that can be sold on Ebay. My husband and I are pretty stressed about the impact we will face, but I'm trying to stay positive! TIA for any suggestions that you can offer!

Definitely try to stay positive. Stress has a measurable effect on your life. anyway, have you tracked your budget? Do you know where every dollars goes to? This maybe your first step in finding extra bucks that are missed.
Next downsize every thing possible. cell phones plans are a biggie. can you get rid of that and get a prepaid one? cable, food. take a look at every single cent and see if you can reduce it.

I did ebay once to get rid of old stuff but not as a way to continuously bring in extra money. It was a bit more work for me than it was worth.

How about your favorite home based business? Mine is helping us tremendously.

My DH has been out of work for several months and we are shocked at how much you can actually cut out of the budget when you have to. We really thought we were good, and we were, but to be on a NO SPENDING ZONE for an extended period, you really can do it. We just keep telling ourselves that this isn't forever, we'll get back on our feet and as soon as we do, we can go back to normal life again. And boy will we appreciate everything this time! Keep your chin up! You will get through, too!
