Change in flight time

Over the weekend, United changed the time on my 2:00 pm flight out of tampa to 3:45. Not too thrilled as this would put us in an airplane through the kids' dinner time and landing at 7:00 pm.

I called United and explained the situation. They said since this change considered a major time change (more than 90 minutes) I could change the flight without paying any fees. Now we are on a 12:30 pm out of orlando instead of tampa, but that time works much better.

In the end, not all customer service from the airlines isn't dead (yet)...

Will the new departure time affect the children's lunch time ?

You will be going through security and check in before noon & in the air by 12.30 .
