Change in cost of reserved seating at TL?

Hi. I was looking into reserving seating at TL on July 3rd. Just getting all the info so I can make the decision of whether or not it is worth it for our family for half a day. From reading some things on the DIS and other sites, I thought you got four chairs (2 lounge, 2 regular), a table, umbrella and 4 towels for around $55 plus tax. I just called and was told I would get 2 chairs and it was $117.16. Have they changed the package and increased the price? Just wondering if I mixed up what I was reading or if the person I spoke to mixed things up when she gave me the details. Thanks

You can now also rent a premium beach chair space at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park in the area known as Getaway Glen. This new offering includes 2 lounge chairs, an umbrella, a cocktail table and 2 towels. Cost as of Summer 2012 is $40 plus tax ($42.60) in low season and $50 plus tax ($53.25) during high season and must be paid at time of reservation. Advance reservations are available by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. You can stop in at High 'N Dry Towel Rental to check same-day availability.

That date is doubtless high season and it does say two chairs. Is the price per person? do they think with more than 2 people you need 2 packages? or did it really go up that much in 3 years?

That quote was for two umbrella tables! I booked blizzard beach umbrella tables today for a party of 6 on August 15. I was told that we would get two tables with umbrellas and seating for 8 and the cost for the two was exactly 117.16.

Thanks! I asked her twice and she told me one table and two chairs for $117.16. Said it included 4 towels but they would give us a 5th towel for the extra kid when we were there. I thought it sounded wrong so did not book it, said I would get back to them if I decided to go that route.

Just called and spoke to another agent. We were indeed originally quoted for two umbrella tables. Have it all handled now . Decided to go for it and booked one for TL and another for BB on July 7th.

Thank you. I don't think we will be there much, but like the idea of our own spot when we need it. Even if it is just for a snack or lunch. Thank goodness for the DIS Community! Does anyone know how to link confirmation numbers for these rentals to my disney experience? The agent said I could do it but I can't seem to figure out how to go about it.
