Change in Airline Baggage Fees !!!

THank you for posting this. It makes me so glad that I am taking a huge suitcase full of vow renewal/welcome bag/favor stuff down next weekend. I am doing a long weekend at WDW for the Minnie marathon 15k and since I can pack all my weekend clothes and race clothes in a carry-on, I decided to fill a large suitcase with VR stuff. We signed up for owner's locker and I'll put all this stuff in temperature controlled storage (nothing perishable). We'll be down again in June for our planning session before a land/sea WDW/DCL vacation, so I will take more stuff down then if it is ready.

Good planning ! We don't usually take more than one checked bag even if we are there for 2 weeks in cold weather, but we certainly maxed out our limits for the wedding. So, it looks like more people will be mailing stuff down !

That is so annoying for UK brides! :( However, I already have a contract with United Airlines which states I am allowed two pieces of luggage, so I wonder where people like me stand.

Now I'm definitely going to ship my dress and most of my wedding stuff down. DF and I will each have a carry on and one checked bag each -- although we are taking Jetblue and they are not one of the listed airlines, but it is still easier than lugging all that stuff through the airport.
