Hi guys,
Im looking for some advice again about indirect flights.
Here are my 2 scenerios -

Flights with American airlines from Manchester to chicago
2 hour 10min time frame to get from terminal 5 to terminal 3
£2526.00 20/9 - 4/10

or

Flights with british Airways from Manchester to Gatwick
3 hr 10 min time frame to collect luggage an change planes and then direct into orlando international.
£2749.00

So which one would you say is easier ?? Any advice for either option??
Both of the prices kick the butt out of virgin who quote £3350

Opinions please x

Pros and cons with both I think. Obviously clearing immigration in Chicago means you can pick up luggage directly in Orlando however I think I would go for changing at Gatwick. We changed at Newark this year and I must admit the thought of getting back on another plane after the transatlantic flight wasn't too appealing whereas it would only be a short hop from Manchester to Gatwick and therefore wouldn't feel so bad. Chicago also takes longer to fly to than the east coast hubs so it would be a longer flight across. I reckon especially if you are doing it with kids go with changing at Gatwick...
