change ADR's

If I want to change a restaurant ADR, do I have to cancle the original first? I'm just afraid I'll cancel it and not get the new one, andthen have nothing.

Any advice?

I never do. I wait until I book the one I want and then I cancel the one I was swapping. Sometimes if there is a direct time conflict you will see a pop-up and have to hit the accept to cancel the existing and book the new, but if it's not then I just book and then go back into the ressie screen and cancel the old one. Just make sure you do cancel the old one with Disney's new cancellation policy going into effect.
