Chances to get a PC same day???

Hi everyone! Could I get some advice regarding PC's? We will be at WDW 4/14-4/18 - busy time of year due to spring break! I have a good handle on which parks we are going to go to, and what attractions we will try and do at each. My concern is making so many PC's ahead of time, as the exact order of parks we are not sure of. We also have hopper passes, so we'd like to follow our whim depending on how we feel. I'm afraid to be locked into such specific choices each day. What are the chances of getting a PC the same day at that time of year? Can people make more than one for the same meal, and cancel the one they decide not to use? Do we dare just "wing it" without PC's? Thanks for your help!!!!!!!!!!

We just returned and dinning without PS in certain areas (like EPCOT) is almost impossible.

I would recommend making PS in advance for locations you know you want to dine at and planning your parks around that. You can also make PS the day before or same day, but your choices may be limited.

Showing up at the resorts like the Poly or GF without PS does work for some resturants (like the Kona Cafe at the Poly), but you may need to wait 30 or 45 minutes to get seated.

My advice is to make what you can in advance and then plan ahead at least one day while you are there.

Also, having a late lunch or early dinner does reduce the need for PS.

How many days in advance would you recommend? Do you think you could get a PS the day before? Just bc we are not exactly sure of when we want what....

We plan our parks each day to correspond with the PS's made. That way, we stay on track and get the dining experiences we want without any hassle. Plus it eliminates any arguments about "where are we going today"!!
We've never regretted this type of pre-planning. During the peak times, (we always go in the summer), there is just too much to risk that you won't be able to dine where you want if you wait.
