chances on OKW GV in Nov on 7mnth window

Anyone have an opinion of my chances of this? I would like to surprise my kids. Long story short. Nov. 5-13 with 7mnth window.

You stand a chance. Part of that is over Veterans' Day and that could pose a problem too. But since it is also at the end of the EPCOT Food and Wince Festival too, many DVC members with OKW reservations may switch out to the BCV and BWV if those are available.

Why not make a reservation at your home resort and then switch at 7 months?

Thanks H B Cat. I did reserve at my home resort. I was kind of undecided which way to go, as my home is SSR & we have never stayed there. But the point diff is so great we would only be able to stay there in a 2bdrm. I was just thinking the kids would love a GV as I have 2 boys and 2 girls. Who knows I may regret it this may spoil them. They may never want a "mere" 2 bdrm again.
Plus, I was thinking with OKW GV my DB & DSIL could stay a few nights with us on their way back from THE KEYS!

I missed the fact that you said a GV until after I posted. I'm sorry to say that that will be a lot harder, but you will still have a chance. Did you reserve the GV at SSR? Good luck with OKW.
